ABOUT US

 

                 Late one summer, while searching for a suitable pony for our niece, we stumbled across the National Chincoteague Pony Association just down the road. One visit left us smitten with this rare, wonderful breed’s beauty, intelligence, and gentle temperament. Although we hadn’t set out to become pony breeders, one thing led to another….and soon we found ourselves with three broodmares and three foals on the way.

 

             Established in 2003, Canrydd Stables is now home to one of the largest privately-held herds of purebred Chincoteague Ponies. We’re excited about our breeding program and look forward to answering any questions you may have about these beautiful small horses.

 

             Canrydd Stables is currently has youngstock and started ponies for sale, and is proud to introduce Julie’s Beach Boy standing at stud.
